Thread: poem for my blossom

"Fate is against us..."
as you say,
while we sit some,
thousands of moments away.
You want different things from me,
but in the end,
they are same as my desires.
you want someone who doesn't,
treat you badly or use you.
I want to take care of someone,
and be the strength for them,
and love them like them need the love.
I'm so close to you,
yet so far away.
so close to the love i desire,
yet so far from being able to hold it.
so close to every hug,
and every kiss i ever could have needed....
yet I'm unable to see you,
thanks to the "ties that bind our souls",
the "threads of fate" that keep us apart,
while our "normal lives" are as normal,
as a living vampire among us.
our feelings are not such a fantasy,
but what keeps us apart seems to be so.
i pray that if this is a dream,
that the nightmare ends,
so that i can wake up beside you,
and know that my "life" is over.
I'll trade all that i own now,
just for the falsehood of happiness,
if being with you is so,
then let me never ever wake.
let me dream away forever.
let me dream away,
....with you....
