I definitely like what I'm reading. The poem itself is quite amazing. It's a work of art. It kind of reminds of a story that has dramatic irony like Romeo and Juliet. Feuding families forcing lovers never to be close. Fated never to be together. It's really sad, but just like Romeo and Juliet, this poem conveys a lot about having supressed feelings of love in public. Only in secret the two lovers can show their true feelings. The last part that talks about "dreaming forever" was that a euphemism for death of two lovers being together? If it was, that's pure genius plain and simple.![]()
