The light is fading and we have a few people to slay.
Anger takes the map and lead for mercy has lost its way.
What use do wolves like us have for conscience and care anymore.
On my fifth deployment I forgot the cause I fight for.
Wisdom could say but we left it in a hurray to go,
It took up the space that we could use for more ammo.
From now on I no longer get to fight with those I trust.
This new group I got is throat slitting so I must adjust.
I am in a better place now but with people I hate.
Some of the best and bravest are dead; it was up to fate.
When both sides have heroes, for destruction who is to blame.
Had to bury some younger that me, it is such a shame.
For all of it things still seem a chaotic mess.
The fog of disorder makes it hard to see the progress.
Ended up in Thailand where years ago I started.
Destiny mocks us in place of the silent departed.
