The Question Is "Why"?...

The Question Is "Why"?....

I reach out for your hand, You slap it away
I cry at night, You don't wipe away my tears
I ask you why, You just walk by me like i'm not even there
I stand there looking at you as you walk away, I can't help but to scream "why"?!...

"Can't help but to scream "Why"?"

Why wont you look me in the eyes, What could have made you change so much?
Did I do something wrong, Or was it something that I didn't do for you?
What could I have done to make you this way, Was it something that I said?
"Why", Why is this the only question that comes to my mind at this time?...

"What could I have done?"

You wont speak to me, You wont look at me
You ignore me, Why wont you just look my way?
I don't know what i've done wrong, But I just wish that you would tell me
But I guess you wont, Since it seems that I no longer exsits to you anymore!...

"In your eyes I no longer exsits"

What would you do if I disapeared, Would you even notice?
If I left you, Would you even care?
I wonder if you really know my true feelings, The ones of love and hate that are all for you?
Would you cry and scream like I do, Or would you just keep going as if I never exsited in the first place?...

"Would you do anything?"

I just don't understand you anymore, I wonder if I even did in the first place?
Why can't you just smile and look me in the eyes, Just like old times?
Why are you hideing from me, Or have you just forgoten all about me?
I cry myslef to sleep at night, Asking myself "Why?"...

"Why me?"

I don't want to leave you, But it seems that you wouldn't even care
I try to talk with you, But you just stare off into space as if I wasn't even there
I wish that I could turn back time, To when you would show me that you loved me
But that's just a dream, And i'm living in a nightmare!...

"Living in a nightmare"

I reach out for your hand, You slap it away everytime
I cry at night, You don't wipe away my tears anymore
I ask you why, You just walk by me like i'm not even there everytime
I stand there looking at you as you walk away, I can't help but to scream "why"?!...

Why wont you look me in the eyes, What could have made you change so much in such a short time?
Did I do something wrong, Or was it something that I didn't do for you or was it something else?
What could I have done to make you this way, Was it something that I said or didn't say?
"Why", Why is this the only question that comes to my mind at this time?...

"What could I have done to make you not want me anymore?"

Why couldn't you have just loved me, Like in the past
But the past is the past, So I guess I have no future
I cry as I write you my final goodbye, Though you probably wont read it
I hold up the knife as high as I can, And then I stabe my already broken heart...

"Why did things have to come to this?
Why couldn't you have just smiled and looked at me?
Why did you have to let me scream and cry myself to sleep?
Why could't you have just loved me?"

I didn't so much like the suicide in the end ... yet somehow I can relate very much to this poem.

The poem is very emotional.I like how your words seem to grab the reader's attention.A sudden change of mood is unexpected and is done quite skillfully.Each of your poems does that and that is what i like.I dunno what else to say though.

Wow such anawesome poem sis! It's a cry for attention that you wanted so much and never got which ultimately ended tragically thinking you might have gotten the attention you were wanting after all. Great job and I look forward to reading your next one.
