Questioning things!
A lot of times i just sit here
and let time slip by , i look
around at things , and I'm always
wondering how this world keeps
moving on when things happen.
Today i walked by a man on
the street, he was yelling out
about the world ending holding a
sign saying the end is near , i stopped
and looked around no was listening to him.
The world kept moving like nothing
was even said , why does the world
keep moving when things happen , that
man was talking about the world and nobody
cared , somethings just become so numb to
the world i suppose.
Only god knows why things are like
this , but sometimes i question why
the world seem to why the world forgets
about god , there was a time when everyone
feared what made the world what it is ,now
they think of it as just another empty place
to just be.
Life seems so hollow , as things only
get worse and only more questions come
to mind , to many to ask so i let another
day slip by as i just sit here , is this just as
bad as ignoring whats going on around me?
I tend to sit around alot thinking
on a lot of things but still i never do
anything but question things , maybe I'm no
different who knows but i always question why
the world keeps moving when things keep going wrong.

Yeah... it does feel like we've all gone numb. Like we've lost the spirit within. Perhaps the man is right. Maybe things are going to drastically change the world as we know it. And maybe thats going to happen soon.
Just because we forget about God, doesn't mean God forgot about us. I almost died in a car accident. I dont remember ANY of it. Someone told me that was Gods way of protecting me, making me forget. So... maybe we're supposed to be desensitized. Maybe thats Gods way of preparing the world for the changes to come.

Re: Questioning things!
Great point you made with this poem of questioning why things are like they are and wonder if there's a way to change it. Maybe someday we'll find a solution.
