quiet LOVE

All my twisted thoughts re-float of you and I.
When the lights are dim and my hands are shaking, you simply stare.
Would it help if I turned a love song on.
My tongue dances behind my lips for you.
I would never get over you, if you ever walked away.
It sure hit me hard when I knew you were here to stay.
My heart is racing.
You have a better touch, a better love.
The thought of romance is stuck in a high place.

You invited me into this night of intimacy.
I watch myself in your eyes.
You whisper you love me.
Close your eyes and i'll close mine.
Let these nights be remembered.
Thoughts of love and risks.

I wanted you to want me.
I wouldn't say it but you knew I loved you.
My hands keep searching for you.
I've held onto what I have been feeling all this time.
I've never forgotten that first kiss, or even that first touch.
A thought of you has never even left my own impaired mind.

dam another poem with love n sadness in it....i wonder has someone put something in the water where u guys live? i mean these sad, love poems are popping up all over place....anyways i love it.....after loving someone so closely he's gone .....keep it up.

I was able to see myself as an actor in this poem....I like the story telling, and the descriptions, but I thought the word choice was a bit plain. :0
