THE RAGE WITHIN


Anger and rage build up inside of you,
as people push your buttons.
You know you cant take much more.
Now even closer to the edge,
they still are pushing your button.

The feelings that you had kept hidden as now been exposed.
You fight to keep anger and rage contained,
so the ones you love dont get hurt.
You feel yourself losing control.

You ask for help but no one hears you.
Now you are ready to close yourself to the world,
and everything around you so you don't lash out.
Then you hear someone say freeze.
They say this to you.

You have people who need you and believe in you.
Now you hear calm down,
you are not alone you are not alone.
I am here with you now,
and I am not going anywhere that I promise you.
