Real... (Keeping what's not there)
Keep it real...
What is real anyway?
Could the people and things
we interact with just be figments
of our imaginations?
Real...
We can smell it, touch it,
see it and hear it, but
is it genuinely real? You can
take a picture and show it off
and someone will say you photoshopped it.
So, is it real?
Aliens don't exist, yet we
see things in the skies every night
and claim it was real. Only to
be told some smelly gas made us think so.
Maybe the aliens think we don't exist...
Real talk...
How can one keep it real,
when one doesn't know what is truly
real? Your eyes can deceive you
everyone pre-judges and everyone
has selective hearing...
Is any of this real?

Re: Real... (Keeping what's not there)
Hmmm... this poem has something... It's just nice to read and it leads you to thinking of things real and iluzional. And if it really matters if something is real... It reminds me a poem I wrote as a child, where I said that I just don't care if love is real or just an iluzion. You just have to enjoy it.
Well you have better, but it was grea to read this one- always nice to see something new from you ^^ And I'm looking forward for more as always ^^
Re: Real... (Keeping what's not there)
Hmm... you put a few examples to the things which is related.. but i think keeping it real is alot wider than that ^^ :p
But a nice poem though...simple and easily understandable.. nice :D
