Regretful Regretful
Tears fall from my face like rain falls to the ground
Wondering what I did to deserve such a fate as this.
A friend who loved life to the fullest extent now gone
Like the warming rays of the sun right before it snows.
Remembering all the things that transpired between us
Trying to rewrite history like a poorly written chapter.
My thoughts and emotions start to get the better of me
Like a childhood rival competing for the same reward.
The relationship that we once held so dear destroyed
Like a thief whose creditability that has lost all value.
You smile as you leave me to wallow in my self pity
The truth released like a bird after being imprisoned.
Now I sit wondering what I can do to get you back
Like a dog ponders the mystery of catching his tail.
Hope no longer an option to resolve our differences
My friend is gone from my life like a summer’s breeze.
This poem gave me the most difficulty but I hope that it turned out okay!

very cool poem bro and i see where you are coming from
loosing something like a friendship is hard ,ecspecialy when
that friend was someone that meant the world to you as
some you felt close to, but just like the the breeze go;es away
it will come back so no worries you will feel that breeze again one
day.

Bro you absolutely right! The breeze can change directions and the possiblity of it coming back my way is definitely possible! But breezes can be confusing like life itself! Because no matter what so how it's going to change direction, but the question is will you or myself for that matter be ready for a change? Thanks Bro!
