Desolate and ruined she stands
remnants of majesty
of once powerful lands

Foxes and scavengers now reside
where princes and nobles lived and died
Piles of ruble now lay
where proud palaces once stood
Fountains that shimmered under golden rays
now reside under darkened hoods

Time has taken it's toil
her kings are forever forgotten
sand has total control
over the lands knights once fought for
Rocks and sand are all that is left of thees once majestic lands
