Sadly- coming to an end

I love you, well… I DID love you,
Remember my feelings for you?
They might change but never should you
You had to leave I understand

You love this man dearly, you told me
I was happy that you were happy
That he could cherish you forever
He could love you more than me

I am not mad at you silly,
I am just happy to see you two together,
Because you have been through a lot my dear,
I hope you will remember me

But before we left to our own separate ways,
I gave you my ring that will reveal you my feelings
The ring is blessed keep it safe
The ring I gave you, I hope, will be there for you forever

You might think I’m weird, but I simply cared too much
Smiles fill up my face instead of tears,
I feel joy and pain; all those mixed emotions
I enjoyed my time with you

Yes enjoyed, as my weak heart is nourishing-
-The last parts of my body, beating its last
It feels like it’s pumping more pain than blood…
Sadly my life is coming to an end

I had been hiding it so you wouldn’t have to suffer,
I am glad I took away your pain in one-way or another
I’ll miss you dearly… my heart is stopping
Slowly but surely I hope to see light

Slowly tears roll down my face, my body on the floor
My body growing cold and numb
My heart stopping… no more tears…
I remember I said no goodbyes for long,
But this is a goodbye forever
