Sadness

Sadness is all I know.
Depression hits me like a ton
of bricks and weighs me down;
perpetually keeping me in slow-motion.

Heartache is all I feel.
The knife slowly turns in between
my ribs, as my emotions pour out
like a water fountain.

Guilt is all that surrounds me.
My love for you causes me to
regret every mistake I've ever made.
My love for you is why I cry.

The pain is neverending.
It will probably never cease. Though
I may try to hide it from the rest
of the world, I know that I will never
stop loving you, which is why it hurts so bad.

Sadness is all I know...

WOW sprout you have a way of spending your emotions on a poem, so to speak. kind of like what I do. anyways on a serious note you did a great job on this one and I like it over your others keep it up buddy.

Thanks for your comment, Ichigo. I appreciate it. I wasn't really writing for show of skill with this one. I wish I could write something that wasn't based on my feelings to tell you the truth, because I'm so tired...

thats very true...when you are sad and felt depressed..or painful... it is as if time slows down....

but when you are sad and depressed that is normally what you write on. (me I write on that alone mainly)

Yeah, typically, that's what I write about. But I'm making myself sick from it, I think. I even gave myself a gray hair. >_<

As sad as my work may be recently, it's good to know you still like it. Sorry for the extremely depressing writing. Life sucks right about now, so that's all I can produce. I hope you like my future writings as well.

Ahhh the taste of sadness and the will of love. How much can I say? This poem is very good. Very emotional and touching. Please keep up the good work and I hope to find more of your work.
