Extremely well felt and worded poem.
Someone's shadow is creeping close behind.
The figure of a man I wish didn't exist.
He looms over everything I hold dear and
fills the head of my loved one with worry.
A destroyer of friendship and killer of love.
An enemy with the goal of keeping what's mine...
Let her go, I say. She wasn't yours to start with.
You're the sole reason we are in this scenario anyhow!
Just begone and haunt me no more.
You smell of death and blood... A smell that makes me sick.
Where is your concience? Do you feel regret?
Apparently not for you to betray your "best friend".
You killed a man in January and didn't even know it.
But that man has returned from the darkness, in search of light.
The light you stole--that light is my life...
And each passing day you make that light dimmer.
Begone, black shadow of destruction! You are not welcome here!
Away with you ghost of the past! You no longer exsist to me!

You never really loved me/You never really cared/It was all just a game to boost your ego/Those feelings never really there/ I'm filing emotional bankruptcy/My heart can take no more debt/Theres no more "money" there to spend. === Besides tee hee SHE loves me!
I can see what you see, it's just a matter of opinion. I can see it, but I can't understand the big parts--the parts that don't make sense. All I know is that I wish that I never met that man...Originally Posted by bratling

Of course. It's a fantastic poem. I know you can't understand parts of it. I am still confused by some of them myself.... I'm so tired.
