a short love poem

everytime we lie awake
everytime we stay away
i don't stop thinking about you
i still don't know why
i still don't know why i love you
everytime we take a feeling
we stay awake to take our time thinking about it
everytime we take a hit
it was just like the first time we ever met
it was like our smiles were meant to be
just the stars that are shining in christmas eve
you are in me
as i am in you
to me it's you that matters
to me it's you that i love
i do , will and forever love you
you are my reflection that stays with me
you are me my shining light
you are the very beauty of this life
you are the world to me
but all i can say now is
i love you
