How do I know if I should wait?
How do I know that you’ll still like me?
My heart is in a million pieces,
Is this what you wanted me to be?

How do I know you haven’t moved on?
But I think it’s plain to see,
With the choices you have made,
That you like her more than me.

I adore you oh-so much,
You could never even know.
But if I really, truly love you,
Then I have to let you go.

It’s the hardest thing I’ll ever do,
But I promise I’ll wait if you still like me,
But if you’re really happy-
Then I will let you be.

thanks peoplz! this is the second poem that i wrote that wasnt for school (at least, that's posted on here, the other ones are either wacky and stupid, or just aren't very good at all)
