    So Near Yet So Far

    So near yet so far

    I hear you everyday
    But not the way I want to
    You are so near yet so far
    Your voice brings me comfort
    I seek refuge in what you sing

    Time flies by
    When you are near
    But dissatisfied I am
    Your voice is not what I seek
    Your touch is what I seek

    I see you from afar
    Never coming close
    A breath away yet miles away
    How can I know you

    I hear you everyday
    The silky touch of you voice
    The roughness of your passion
    Your unfelt face so close
    Yet I am too far to feel you

    The wide web
    Stretches towards you
    If only to see your words
    Typed from deep in your heart

    I see you from afar
    I want to get close
    To be a pillar for you
    How do I know you

    Too far away for me
    The burning flame dies out fast
    My life shrivels in lost hope
    So close yet so far now
    Strength drains from me
    A lost cause from the start

    Well... Was done in January... I think I was feeling kinda emo and unloved so out this came... Wanna guess who I'm refering to? It's not someone from my home country yet can me so close when I listen carefully... Anyways, haven't put up a poem for a while so yupp, hope it's ok since I didn't really change much of the initial structure

    I really like this poem... It tells something about my feelings too!
    You've done a really good job with this one... I like how you express your feeling here, you tell a lot and still leave a few things about witch to wonder.
