Thread: So What?

Here's an old poem of mine, just thought I'd get the thoughts of everyone on it.

So what~
If all you seem to me isn't real?
When we drove around that night,
I felt my soul lose to the devils deal

So what~
If I could make my own choices here?
Life is too short to worry,
So why not let my end be near?

So What~
If I wasn't strong enough to see,
That the very facts we faced that night-
Only meant we were never going to be...

Should I care~
If you'd cry the very moment that I'd die?
I'd live to see your crying face again,
Why can this feeling subside?

Were you there~
Those restless nights when I was scared?
Could you feel my heart impaired?
By the side of your beating chest..
Palpitation through all the rest
Speculations are the sharpest blades
Terrifying when inside they are blared

Like chiming tones and blazing brass
They call out to me and make me ask
The saddest things I need to get past
My heart will shatter, but will I find a cast?

So what~
If I die inside again?
Because I know that in the end,
Our life together,
Learned,
Will be a godsend.
