Great poem it had me spellbound from beginning to end. It sounded like some kind of ancient rome movie where people dressed up in amour and faught with nothing but swords. It was a very interesting story. Keep up the good work.
The blade so sleek and stainless
it glimmers as the sun hits the
blades smooth reflective surface,
a sigh can be heard as the blade i
is held steady and non moving.
A thunder arises from over the mound
lush with greenery as banners flapping
in the wind rise and aproach the now waiting
blade , a smile cracks on the face of the one
who holds the blade gripping the sword tightly
he gives a stare that would kill a thousand men.
As the heads now come over the mound the thunder
gets closer as he stands his ground not giving one
quarter to those who would dare take it , the thunder now
becoming more silent the dust settles as the wind carries
it away slowly revealing those who came to fight and to
die.
Nothing can prepare the young boys now made men
for the moment of fate when 2 brothers who once
were joined are now severed for all time , i blow
on a horn echoes in the Vally as roars can be heard
his blade now focused he is ready to face what must
be.
The thunder roars deafening all as metal meets metal
and blood is shed his blade now full of desire for death
he slays those who come before him as the battle seems
to always find someone who will offer there life for him to
live another day , the sun sets the thunder dead for a
moment , he takes his blade and cares for it cleaning all
the blood his blade has tasted preparing for a new day to
come.
As he sits there he is reminded of a saying and he murmurs
these words like a prayer * Blood drawn from hate is better
drawn from a blade than that blood which is drawn from love*
he then rests his head thinking on how to better his self for tomorrow
could be his last day to live.
this is a poem about fighting a battle that seems to engulf
everyone and the only luxury is when the sun goes down and
there is a few hours rest. comment and sugestions are welcomed
I'll be the one to protect you from your enemies and all your demons
I'll be the one to protect you from a will to survive and a voice of reason
I'll be the one to protect you from your enemies and your choices son
They're one in the same, I must isolate you...
Isolate and save you from yourself
