I lay there, gasping for breath
Moist air reaches my lungs, heavy and painful
His light footsteps patting away,
A drab crimson dripping from his blade
my hand reaches for a handle that is not there

My vision blurs, my body numbs
I hear blood pumping through my veins
Violently rushing to replace that which is lost
I muster my strength to look at his face
My killer looks back, defiantly, and smiles.

I see only darkness as i phase through the void
My body goes limp, the world passes through me
A white light greets me at the end of my journey,
as i walk into a new beginning.
