Frozen Rose (Jul 16, 2009)
Even in a loved one's arms things look grim.
War continues the future is kept dim.
No bright point except the sky's stars.
Invain on them we wished though none is ours.
And many dead are themselves a victim.
Dead hands clutch Kalashnikovs but are they to blame?
Or results of huge countries extending power.
Those we could have helped but instead chose to devour.
It shocks you but for them it is more of the same.
Prosperity is not just a zero sum game.

This is dedicated to all those struggling regardless of what side they are on or where they are. Be they in the Jungles of Burma or the sands of Southwest asia. It was inspired by Frozen Rose.

Love Like the Wind You Can't See It But You Can Feel It
Thank you. Coming from someone such as yourself who witnessed the falling apart of a country first hand is the most sincere compliment. I could stop writing now and feel that I achieved so much.
