    Suffer and Rewards

    I have seen Death himself.
I have seen him spread his
black wings and wield his sycthe.
I have seen him take every
dying soul to their Final Judgement.

My family are gone and I see him.
My friends are gone and I see him.
My love is gone and I see him.
She died in my arms and I see him,
I said, "Just a little while longer" to him

When he took her soul, I prayed
that she would have be accepted.
I cried silently, holding her in my arms.
I walked through my life watching
people die on the street. I see him again.

    Friends come and gone.
Flames of love burn brightly and went out.
On my deathbed, I saw him again
for the last time. He offered his hand to me.
His hand was nothing but bones and yet,
When I reached out and touched his hands.
It had warmth and i released.

He guided me towards the White Fields
And there i saw her, my true love.
I run and embraced her, feeling the
warmth of her body, the smell of her hair,
and the feel of her lips. I had suffered so much
to be rewarded in the end, to be truly happy.

I really hope that the title fits this poem. Hope you guys enjoy this.

    Thanks for the siggy Ky-lyrra
