A Suffering Prisoner
Where am I heading now?
Death maybe my only path
Never again do I want to feel this way
I can't; this is too much
Rather or not I say stop
Why is this happening to me?
Why am I the only who has to take this suffering?
Does anyone care?
Please set me free
I'm begging on my knees
The chains seemed to have tightened
Looks like I'm a slave for a life time
The darkness seemed to hold me in a cold embrace
There is only the smallest peek of light
I'm too trapped to reach out
Nothing seems abled to break through these barriers
Is my hope gone?!
Why can't I stop these tears from falling?
Why I ask
Help is what I plead

Re: A Suffering Prisoner
Ugh cliche! It's a good poem, quite well written but it's so mainstream! Very vivid desriptions, gives the reader a feeling of darkness and insecurity but try and break out of the same "i hate life" mold next time. Good vocabulary, a few errors that I'm too lazy to point out, good emotion. Keep on trying!
