I asked a question.
And a card flew from the decks center.
Just begging to be seen.
3 of swords.

A card I had flipped so many times.
...when questioning you.

I pulled more, I was after something specific.
And the cards, one after the other...
They played out, like a story
I read them.. like a book.
Justice.
The devil.
2 sevens of swords and wands.

I needed to close your book.
So I asked...
What about me?

Judgement.
3 wands.
7 cups.
8 pentacles...

...what am I doing?
I know too much.

One preminission after the other.
Already know that one came true.
Fate, unraveling faster than I can warn you.
And you're to blind to see it.
And Im to hated to help.

I dont want you to lose it.
I NEED you to keep it.
But I'll keep it a secret.
The cards don't lie.

Ahh... sheesh... I should learn the meaning of the cards by heart already!!!! Now I've left both of the books back in London and can't understand the deeper meaning of this... but it just makes me so intiqued... you can be sure I'll come back to this poem ^^

I really like this, reminds me of myself, but I've come to know it's better not to guess about yourself- it brings bad luck (it really does!), I too once sat and guessed a friends fortune, the cards told everything, I understood them as if it was all written with words in a book... it feels like you've got such great power in your hands but at the same time it saddens you if you understand you can't do anything to change what they say or it's already too late... and you've managed to perfectly show that here...

Really a great poem, I enjoyed reading it very much and I'll be waiting forward for more!!!

the predictable heart is always going
to let you know what is and how things
should be , but its ot your place to help
someone who donst want it no matter
how badly you want to.

so keeping it secret is a good idea but
just know that cards can only go so far
because life is just to random and so is
love , this poem is very awesome though
and depicting how there life is and your life
should or will be is pretty sad.

but the truth is there for you to see
so try and let go of everything you
know if you get what i mean because
only then will life , love and happiness
come into your life and that will change
the fate of the cards.

but thats just what i got from this poem
it was really awesome

Yeah, I dunno If I believe I am going to get bad luck. But who knows, I used to do alot of card readings in my day... And I can't say that I've had the best fortune.

But I used to try to see into the lives of others, which is more invasive. But I wanted to see if I could touch something in people, and I was always told I was gifted... So I kept doing it.

But now I really only use them for myself as a guide. Nothing to serious.
