Thread: Tender Water

It’s a human heart
So persistent, yet so vulnerable
It’s … something like water actually
Free to flow wherever it wants to, mixing things [emotions] along the way

It’s soft and so warm

Needs love to go on and it gets so excited
When passion strikes

It stops
When depressed

It rises it’s beat when happy
Or just simply resumes back to normal when it’s over.

Everybody knows how easy it is to just grip a nerve
And it will stop beating
You can do whatever you wish to
It is your PREY after all

It recognizes one emotion extremely easily
Love… just three words – “I love you”
Is what all it takes to make it go on and on

You might get used to the feeling
But not when somebody devours
That tenderness, leaving you so open

No matter how many times,
It just makes me smile and chuckle instead
An organ, which is supposed to be go with the help of brain
Helps us most of the time with the emotions in our life

You might convince me that you have feelings for me
Indescribable ones, stronger than your life
But all I know is that it all ends the same way

Give me a reason to trust you
To believe you’ll put up with me for your life
Accept me with every flaw that I have
To not judge me simply because I’m different to you

Go ahead I will be listening, awaiting the response
My mindset has been set
And the water has dissolved so much that the rest settles down, deep inside
