Well those last two lines reminded me of that one episode with the weird guy who speaks really slow and smiles at everything he says.
Anyway, your poem was nice. Simple and neat. Not too long, even though I was expecting it to be because of the title..

I liked the scene you have set up in this poem, and on each sentence I can picture exactly what you're talking about. This poem sort of gives me a tensely feeling that you might have when you're worried about something. Anyway, Good job. ;D
Even though this poem was short, it's the quality and content that counts. Your poem was very descriptive. Talking about simple things and referring to them as timeless was excellent. Simple imagery, but sends a powerful message. Wow, even great things come in small packages. Good luck. :2thumbs:
