"Jin-e"
My past had caught up with me,
The man who had cold eyes,
Lust for blood was driving him, Jin-e,
I was asked to help protect, the first of many.
I knew this man was dangerous to be left alive,
I had to break his will to kill somehow,
Somehow, it would take a killer to defeat a killer.
The same as he ever was,
The same skill he used to kill his opponents,
But I was not the skilled warrior,
Not enough to defeat him.
I had to shut myself off from everyone,
To protect them, to carry out my vow,
Yet Kaoru wanted me to stay,
She was sweet and naive which I found endearing.
Like the winged demon,
Jin-e took her away from me,
Wanting, desiring the beast of blood to return
He would regret his choice to involve Kaoru.
Under the moonlight,
It looked close to the same one I killed under,
There was, Jin-e the fool wanted his death.
Tonight no one would mourn for him.
Once more into the brink,
Fighting to save Kaoru's life,
To kill Jin-e, to save hers.
Equivalent trade...
Yet it was kaoru who saved me,
She pulled me back from the threshold,
The fight was over, Jin-e wanted his death.
He parted under the moon with his final words,
"A murderer will always be a murderer"
revival!!! finally got round to getting this back up...
anyways this is one of kenshin's more significant fights with the "past"

Move Along.
I really liked this,I could picture the scene from that episode perfectly.
"The Encounter"
I felt at ease, laughing with Sano and his friends,
A beautiful woman sought out my protection,
I could see why she needed it,
A strange skilled man, Bashimi tried to attack her,
Unfortunately he felt the wrath of our fists.
Her name was Megumi Takani,
She was ambegitous,
Quite the seductress though.
I promised to protect her,
Like I promised to protect Kaoru when the fight begins.
That promise was to be tested,
Like a dragon, Hyottoko roared n breathe fire,
Though everyone had their limit,
I outlasted him but he had more oil.
I admired him for being able to swallow so much,
However Sano knew his trick,
Like a fealess warrior,
He went into the jaws of the beast,
Pulling out a special bag where the oil went,
Despite being burnt, he showed his fercious strength once more,
Knocking Hyottoko out.
However we paid the price,
As Bashimi poisoned Yahiko when he protected Megumi,
Despite suffering from our wrath the second time,
Someone, a higher level skill had saved them,
Appluaded us and left, "We shall meet again Battousai"
first part to the Oniwa banshu vs. kenshin himura battle...enjoy n comment ^^
