Watching in disbelief as events unfold
Unable to stop what’s already set into motion
Fear, frustration, and helplessness grips you
Fighting it now is all but lost
How could things have spiraled this far
Nothing seems to make since anymore
Seeing things that don’t add up
Unsure what to do, think, or even say
Someone’s trust held close to your heart
Dare you speak of what you can see
Keeping silent can be the same as the sin
Like the acts you question happening before you
The cost of loyalty is betrayal
Punishment is dealt out by those trusted
Is it something that you risk

Very nice peom. While reading it I thought of Yuna from FF10 and FF10-2 and how she felt as her story went one. I hope that you will do a "happy" poem soon.
