You claim someone rejects you,
Possibly neglects you.
Yet that someone lingers
On almost every word you spew.
Though it may feel abusing,
It's amusing, because I do it too.
But the difference is, my words, my world...
All center around YOU.
Your actions teach me, they unleash me.
The shackles are unlocked.
Sick of not being good enough
And always getting knocked.
Your loyalties become quite clear,
Everytime you talk.
And, the more I see how stuck you are.
The farther I can walk.
I wonder if you see me walking.
Or if you even care.
With freedom, comes a vacant heart.
Because nobody's there.
The farther I walk, the bigger the hole.
And there's no way to fill it.
But, the pain of loving you is gone.
You've found a way to kill it.

Ahhh!!! such a great poem!! How I'd wish for that guy I like to do the same as you describe here!!! But he just can't seem to do anything bad enough...
I'd be happy if I was in place of the lyrical "me" of this poem, though you made it sound sad...

Yeah... its a bittersweet feeling to let go of something you've held on to for such a long long time. I guess you just get to the point that you realize the was never a point, Some people never go back.

i love this poem because it talks of how
a lonely heart becomes numb after enough
has been done to it , and its true that that
holw can never be filled with love or anything
thats good , but letting the hole deal its self.
thats where the new life can begine because that hole
you had just get filled with al that unwanted emotion
and it covers that hole really well so the new life can
smoothly go over what used to be a really big hole.
thats what i get from this but the poem is really good
