No one saw him, no one cared
About the boy who sat alone
Fighting the demons that were haunting his thoughts
He had no friends, shadows were home.
He sat in the corner
He didn't believe
That someone like him
Could get a moments reprieve.
But then she came along
And asked if she may
Sit down next to him
For the rest of the day.
Because she too was like him
Always alone
Whenever in school
Shadows were home.
At the end of the school year
The two fell in love
When they first started talking
They both fit like a glove.
They shared all they had,
They laughed and they cried
And many years later
Together they died.
