Thread: Valentines.

The moon was yellow, and the lane was bright
As she turned to me, in the autumn night.
And every gesture and every glance
Gave me a hint that she craved romance.
I stammered, I stuttered, and time went by
The moon was yellow, and so was I.

Not everyday is perfect, not everyone is happy
Not everyone gets to smile everyday
Nor does most of 'em, [nowadays] care for what the say
I love you... on Valentine's Day.

Others might wrap arms around their sweets
And some others might go and sulk in a corner
"Why did I deserve this" and "why does it hurt so bloody much?"
Tears of joy, tears of sorrow.
All roll down. And [for some] the heart is left hollow.

Nobody deserves to be sad,
Not everyone is supposed to smile
Not just everyday but throughout their life..
Love is not a sweet thing, but a slowest form of suicide.

Not everyone is lucky and not everyone who falls in love is a complete fool.
Not everyday is perfect, not everyone is happy
Not everyone gets to smile everyday
It's Valentine's Day.

For some there will be happiness and for others
There are tears to be sure...
For the careless people who hurt- on this day or other
Get a life.
