Thread: Vanish

I know it's not one of my better one's but here it is, my latest poem.

Vanish

She acted so distant then
Didn’t say goodbye before she left
Now she sits alone in the night
Wishing on once upon a dream

What happened to the love
The dreams she once had
But now she don’t even remember
They had loved each other so much

Held each other in their arms
Kissed so tenderly at times
And it all vanished
Within a moments time

She cries
Wondering where it all went wrong
She was so close
Yet so far

The distance between them
Had separated them for so long
She was right there and yet she turned away
Unsure of what she should have done

Now all she holds is regrets
In her heart and soul
She wonders if the pain she feels
Will ever… vanish like the love she once had
