Now that that's been said, enjoy... critique... don't steal.

Peel the flesh from off my bones
Ignore my painful cries and moans
Drag the knife blade down my wrist
What a life to take this twist…

And the blood fell to the floor
And inside I wanted more
For my blood to smear the walls
As my lifeless body falls

So now I sit - I sit and wait
For death to be my lasting fate
Open wounds again, and then
I let my life come to it's end

Ok, since you made such a deal about this being "emo" I have to ask... what does that mean?
I hear it so much, but its not I term I grew up with...

Does emo mean you cut yourself, or that you're suicidal... alot of times when people use the term "emo" in reference to poetry, the poetry seems to have a cutting or suicide theme...

But then Ive heard certain bands are "emo"... but when I hear their music, to me it doesn't seem overly depressing or suicidal ... or about cutting ones self.. so... What DOES emo mean? Emotional??? If so, isn't everything emo to a degree?

Emo is just one of those stereotypes of people who are depressed, and generally it involves them being suicidal and cutting themselves.
