Waiting For The Call...

All alone upstairs, Waiting for something to begin
As the rain keeps falling, And the windows foged up
I'm siting on the bed holding my phone, Waiting for the call to come
"Call me" is what I whisper to myself, As I cry silently to no one...

"I'm crying upstairs all alone"

I remember the happier days, The one's filled with smiles
But now all I seem to do is cry, Till I fall asleep in the end
It hurts so much, Being here all alone without you
I keep hopeing that you will call, But in the end you never will again...

"Never call me again"

As I walk down the street, I think that I saw you walkin ahead
I chase after you,Hopeing to try and catch up with you
But once I do, You turn around and begin to disappear right before me
I stand there shocked, I fall to my knees and scream!...

"Why did you have to leave me?"

I walk by all our favorite places, I can bearly hold in my tears
I can't help but to think of you, Everyday it's the samething
I keep glanceing at the phone, Hopeing that it will ring and praying that it's you on the other end
But it will never be you again, Cause you can't call not anymore...

"You wont call me no more"

Why'd you have to go, Why couldn't you stay with me?
I can still remember that day, Just as if it were yesterday
The rain was pouring down so hard that night, The streets were even tryin to flood
But you said that you had to go, And you up and left me completely...

"You left me all alone on that rainy night"

I keep looking out my window on the rainy nights, Hopeing to see you pull up
I hear other cars drive by and almost jump up to see, But it's never gonna be you
I keep a tight hold onto my phone, Begging it to ring for me
But that's just wishful thinking, Cause even if it did it wouldn't be you...

"It's not gonna be you anymore"

I miss your voice as you laughed and joked.
I miss you most of all cause i'm never gonna see you again.
Your really gone now.Why did you have to leave me all alone?"

I'm sittin here all alone in the dark crying and waiting for you to call....

Awesome job Angel!!! I love this song and I know what that feels like to want someone to call as you wait all alone! Outstanding job as always and you know your fox had to leave my paw prints on this song! I love it!

I've been working on it for the past few days and finally got it done lol.Yeah.I was thinking about my cousin who passed away last week while writting this,so I guess it's kinda about him and yet not ya know.But thanks again as always.

That is such a sweet and sad poem. It makes me think os ones I've lost thinking I'm gonna hear from them or I'll walk down the street and I"ll see them knowing I never will again. I loved it. Great job sis. I can't wait to read your next one.

Yeah..that's why I wrote it.I was thinking of my younger cousin that passed away while I was writing this.So it's kinda for the memory of him.
