Waiting Under The Colorful Lights...


Oh how i've missed you, How I wanted to be held by you
So long I was lost, Lost in the darkness of depression
Waiting for you to find me, Watching the days go by
I'm here waiting for you, Come find me before I fall apart...

"Find me..."

Waiting in the rain, I'm begining to freeze over
Siting here all alone, Watching the lights go flying by
Crying silently to noone, Praying that you would hear me
Come and get me, That's what I end up screaming...

"Come and Get Me!"

Darkness is all i've been able to see, Since the day you left me behind
I'm surround by it, I'm consumed by this
It has ahold of me, It wont release me
I'm scared and lonely, Will you come searching for me?...

"Will you come for me?"

I feel so empty without you, It's as if I would fall apart with one touch
Other's try to heal me, But none of them have that healing touch
Your the only one who could ever save me, Your the one and only
I'll keep running along the dark hallways, Searching for the right door that leads me to you...

"I'll keep searching, hopeing that you'll find me"

Time passes me by, And it begins to snow
Lights are being put up, Joyful singing can be heard outside of the windows
Everyone is smileing and laughing, I am still here waiting
Waiting for your return, Waiting for you to finally find me...

"Waiting in snow, under the colorful lights"

I hang the lights on the tree, Trying to pass by the time
But it seems all I can do is cry, But I continue on
I try to keep the darkness at bay, But i'm begining to crumble
I don't think i'll hold out much longer, When will you come for me?...

"Will we ever be together?"

I've lost my way completly, How come you never came for me?
Walking through the snow still searching for you, Hopeing to come across you
Though it may be hopeless, The darkness may win once again
I have no power over it no longer, You are the holder of my heart...

"It no longer belongs to me, it belongs to you...So will you come and save me?"


It's been awhile since I wrote anything,it feels good 2 finally have somethin again lol.I wanted 2 write about the sadness of bein lost in the darkness of your own heart,while waiting for the one you love 2 finally find you.Well guys tell me what ya'll all think of it kk.
