Thread: Waiting for you!

Time its what makes thing's go so wrong
or so wonderfully right i just seem to be
to let time waist away not really thinking
on how things could be , i sit here as i pop
the cork on another bottle of jack , he always
seems to know how i feel when i sit there letting
my feelings and thoughts drown me.

I spend hours emptying one shot glass after
another trying to shoot my lonelyness away
as i aproach my 5th i stop now as i see a picture
hanging on the wall and i see my self smiling with
someone there by my side , i get a lump in my throat as
i take 3 more shots not caring if i choke or not with
how quickly i let them slide down my throat.

I know i have been mistaken and i have got
some imperfection's things just seem so ****ed
up with how things have gotten so out of control
you always said things to keep me waiting for you ,
i made a commitment to you because i love you , things
always seem to just slip away when i give my self so many
reasons to stay.

You always find away to keep my waiting here for you
you could stomp my feelings and heart a million times
and i could break your heart just as many times but things
just never end up like we want , and you go away once more ,
how many times must we have this dance before we walk off
the floor holding hands and become happy.

this poem is a bit lengthy because i wasnt sure how to
makes the lines short its like they kept going and the meaning
behind this poem is pretty simple love for someone can be so great
they if you try to leave they say something that keeps you there
wating for them when they leave you. or it could be you saying
something to keep them waiting for you.

either way life is just really complicated anyway comments
and sugestions are welcomed
