The White Wolf showed such dedication.
Bannished for her conversation.
Educated the ignorant. Called out the fools.
God forbid, she break some rules.

In a place so unsafe to unleash fury.
They are the judge, they are the jury.
No one thinks of broken bonds.
Because they put an "M" on "Gods"

That's the contract, we cannot breach.
There IS no real freedom of speech.
I know she tried, although she struggled.
To wear these rules, just like a muzzle.

Perhaps the rebel of her pack.
I miss her now. I want her back.
A blow that still leaves me quite sore.
To find that White Wolf howls no more.

It was less of a permanent situation then. White Wolf was one of my good buddies here, and I thought her to be a quite valuable member of this community. Thusly, I thought some sort of memorial would be fitting.

The staff gave her rope to get herself out of her hole so many times, and all she did was hang her self with it. Her ban was her own fault, no one elses. She made her bed, and now she's laying in it.

If she was a valuable member of the community, she would have followed the rules, not insulted members and staff alike.

Trying to follow the rules isn't, and never will be, good enough.

And don't go playing the free speech card: Yes, you are free to say what ever you feel like, but there's a catch to it that no one seems to think is there. YOU HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSABLITY FOR WHAT YOU SAY.

I'm not pointing fingers... I'm sure she screwed up. I just know how hard it is to "follow rules", when what does or doesn't fly is up to a select few individuals. I've seen certain things go by unnoticed. While other times there are consequences given. So it really seems like punishment really depeneds on what mod you cross paths with and however they're feeling (or thinking) when they cross that path. Not so much the rules themselves.
But hey, in all fairness... we all knew how it worked when we signed up right?

Either way, weather or not she was a valuble member is a matter of opinion. I don't think its fair to strip someone of their value because they make a mistake. She still has contributed to this community in a possitive way (Once again... thats just my feeling.)

Its just a poem, I realize no one first amendment rights have REALLY been infringed I was just expressing a FEELING... Maybe you should try your hand at poetry Ace. It's fun.

It wasn't a matter of opinion, we (the staff) all thought she should be banned, the only thing we're split on is how long that ban will be.

It IS a matter of opinion Ace, Mods don't get to decide who has value. They decide who stays or goes. Just because you all shared an OPINION (that perhaps she wasn't a valuable member?) That doesn't make it fact. I think she was a valuable member... my opinion counts just as much as yours, and everone elses.

Nice poem, I'm sure White would have appreciated it. As for what you said about stuff going by without being punished. Keep in mind we can't catch every single thing that happens around here, hence the report system. Hope that helps.

I really like THIS one. Less short. Well thought sentiment and opinion. I love the flow of this one like the one it stemmed from.

Despite what the mods think she will be a missed member here. And she had a lot of friends.
