Words from a 4 year old.

I cant stop crying.
I have a way to end it all... And I cant stop thinking how easy it'd be.
Im affraid, scared of what I might do if Im left alone.
Wondering why it is someones goal to bring me down this far.
And Im crying so hard.

My son says.

"Don't be sad mommy. Find your happy thoughts... And they will beat up your sad thoughts... then just blow. *he puts out his hand like hes blowing a kiss* Blow all your tears out the door."

That was the only thing that could've worked.
And it did.

kids can be so amazing sometimes
when you least expect it and thats
is what keeps you going , lol i have a nephew
who is 8 and im like grr with him but he always
seems to say or do something that makes me laugh
and forget what ever ti was i was angry at.

this poem shows that kids can be a big influince
in your life though i have non of my own it makes me
want a kid in a way

I'm not usually one for poetry, but this struck a chord in me. I'm a theology teacher for children ages 7-16 (in the same class) and was having a horrible day once when my youngest student raised his hand and said, "Um, teacher? Do you mind if we start praying before class?" I felt as if someone had knocked me breathless with a Bible; this kid knew more than I did about the important things. Kids are full of that kind of obvious wisdom. We forget it when we grow up.

Apart from a few simple spelling/grammar mistakes, that poem is absolutely fantastic.

WOW! Im super flattered that anyone would appreciate this. It was just an emotional thing. And while it was a moving thing for me to experience I would never have guessed someone could relate.. Thank you for sharing that divine.
