In life you can only be certain
of pain and loss , your friends
will move on and you will never
know peace of mind.

To never trust its what life
always offers , doubt and
insacurity are your rewards
dont worry you not alone.

Why do i only see the sad and
defeated way?, there are so many
reasons why you can name a few
and would be right.

Where once was light only darkness stays,
those tears you cry are like falling rain ,
sadness is your only comfort , the numbness
of your heart protects you from the lies.

where once was love only hate remains , it falls like
a crumbling building , dont say good bye and dont
say you even tried because you you left me alone
against a world that is ruthless.

For all the lies you told , the hurt and the pain , no
loyal friend was ever there for me , i was left alone and
a trust was lost and will never be found , you cant say
i didnt try , its to late now.

The tears you cry for me , the hope and desire
for a better day there is nothing left for moe , so
i will be what i will be what i will be and i say you
didnt even try ,take back the lies , the hurt and the blame.

I am lost and i can never go home again , where i lay my
head now is my home , if only the world was different but
it isnt , if only love was there but it want aproach me , if
freinds could be made , they only fear and hate what they
have created.

this poem is about how the real world can treat you
and leave you feeling lost and on your own , which is
true from a certain perspective but in the end it isnt
who you know or how you live , its how you see the world
and how you let things get to you.

yeah... Im all too familiar with that numb feeling the world can plague your soul with. Infact, Ive gone beyond numb... I hated numb so much that I moved on to the next chapter... Seeking pain. The poem mentioned pain and loss as being the only things you can be sure of... and if you believe that (which I have) then... you go numb to STOP feeling pain. Then... you start to get comfortable in the numbness... And it frightens you, because you start to miss what it was like to FEEL. So.. instead of running.. you seek pain. Because its better to feel pain than nothing. (at least thats how I've rationalized it)
