    Longing to see that smile.
    I haven't seen it in quite a while.

    Waiting to spend my days with you.
    The funnest person I know, and you're only two.

    Excited about Halloween.
    Looking for matching costumes for you and me.

    Hoping to see you--no strings attached.
    Although the past, I can never take back.

    Wishing to be a part of your growth.
    That's the thing that gets me the most.

    Praying that the drama ends.
    Will your parents quit beefing? If so, when?

    But mostly, longing to see that smile.
    A smile of pure happiness from the world's greatest child.

    has to endre crap from the nightly argument that end up
    with dad on the couch or mom comming to you asking if you
    think she is doing a good job as a mom.
