The sky wouldn't seem,
so sad tonight...
that is,
if I didn't miss you so.

The clouds wouldn't seem,
so dark and grey....
that is,
if I didn't miss you so.

The night wouldn't seem,
so cold and empty.
that is,
if I didn't miss you so.

The rain drops pouring,
from the black clouds.
The meteors crashing,
into my soul.

This joy in my heart,
matched with lonliness.
I'm not sad,
but my smile is not there yet.

I know that within hours,
I'll get moments of your words.
Love waits,
forever if need be.

Love is what is in me,
yet I'm still needing you now.
I'll be ok soon,
I know this.

I will be ok,
and be smiling again.
I know you'll keep me,
until you return again.

And if you don't return,
like you promised,
then I'll remember,
that you said forever.

You're not like the others,
that left me in this cold,
as my hands stay in my,
ice colored hoodie.

You're different,
and loving and true.
And yes it took a bit,
but I do love you.

So I'll stand in the cold,
as long as I can.
smile when I need to,
and be your loving man.

Just make sure that you keep,
what you say....
then I'll love you in,
every single way.

Come in the rain,

Love poetry. Mmm-mm, baked fresh.

Tiny bits on the grammar and spelling area. Not too bad I may say.

The poem reminded me of my own Love poetry written a while back. But.. it just turned to what it was, poetry and nothing more.

But I still mused at yours and on the inside smiled at your love. I just couldn't get a flow with it.
