" You Are.. "

An old love poem I wrote a long time ago. Tell me what'cha think eh?

You are the sun in the distant view
You are the stars that I pray to
You are the heart inside my soul
You are the action I have taken; bold

You are the past,
The future,
And the now,

You are the love
The hold
The radiant smile

You have no bounds to what you feel.
You are the one,
who before I kneel

You are the timeless rose in the view of my eyes
The crystal shining emanation in the dark
You are the passion and love that never dies
The explosion of happiness as feelings spark

You are the sigh in the winds breath
The only one to kiss me deeply with love
You are the finest woman I've ever met
With love you fill me fully with every hug

As I hold you in my embrace
The warmth of my body upon your face
While you bury your head in my chest
You know for you,
I only want the very best.

As I sigh with you in my arms
I see you pulling me in,
With your gracious charms
Oh how the light illuminates my soul
You fill me to the very rim, so very full
With love that is true and powerful too
A guide from the emptiness and the cold

As I look upon you this night
My soul and my heart take full blown flight
With the winds at my back I soar with might
On towards the future with you high in the plight

You are my shining breeze
That cools me when I'm warm
Through your tender touch and passion so
The love swirls and rages like a storm

You are the eye within the storm of my troubled mind
That brings me peace and tranquility
Your voice the winds that wrap around me so
Is a soothing song, I never wish to stop it's flow

You are my love,
My darling
And my dove
My sunshine howling
Towards tomorrow

For you are you,
I hold you
I kiss you
I miss you
When you are gone.

You are my everlasting obsession
though it is odd to say the least
You are the prime example of complexion
In my eyes as I see

For you are you,
It's all true
I love you and only you
You've given me your heart
And I have given you mine

Let the love flow in eternal waves of bold
Bold colors,
Bold shapes,
Bold thoughts,
Bold makes;
A subtle swoop towards the unknown
Towards what lies ahead for us
Is surely in that zone

But it matters not
For you are you
And I have that in my heart
That love that flows from you

Oh how I embrace it
And repeatedly display it
It is for you I am open to the world
And it's ideas
Although not always sane
Many can really jumble up
Any persons brain

But alas it matters not,
You are the focus here
If not for you then for who?
My sweetest Darling dear.

OMG! That some how made me felt heartfelt and kinda made me cry! I love every part!!!!!!!!!! Really! Especially the beginning!

But that you for the words of joyfulness. I wrote that when I fell in love for the first time. Even though it didn't work out I keep this work as well as others related to it.

I like to know if my poetry has that kind of affect on people and it makes me happy when my works do so.
