i don't understand i said i love you and i meant it what is this just a poem or do you feel this way

Is this about your love? I'm confused... you say that your love is dark as hell? i don't know what your getting at.

it's talking about my ex, that i broke up with over the summer, and how he never returned my love, instead it was just me who showed love towards him.
