Your Patience

All these years,
I've never look in front of me,
Never seen what was there,
You smiling and waiting for me.

For all my life,
I've always relied on myself,
To keep myself going,
To keep carrying my burden,
Yet you offered to help carry it.

I've never felt about someone so much like this,
You stood there smiling and offering your help,
I was a fool to not open my eyes,
To have refuse your help,
To have kept walking past you.

You truly did love me,
No matter how times I refused,
You patiently waited and listened,
And my eyes had finally opened.

To see what's in front of me,
Your beautiful eyes and smile,
I was the one who tried to fix everything,
Yet you fixed me and still love me,
I was a fool to ignore you,
I know now that I wont be walking alone now.

very nice alot of love with some power to push it along. check you 4th paragraph 2nd line needs the word "many" (no matter how MANY times..) If im reading it wrong sorry.

yea i know tht she will, she even said tht she keeps it close to her heart and think abt me all the time...which i jus was really surprised i guess

Impressive! You have such amazing words in your poem. You started out on how you never needed help and thought you never do but until someone came into your life and expressed their feelings to you and wants to help you, you didn't want to take the offer but then you realized that you do. The poem explains everything. Keep it up!!!
