Ok, maybe I just don't get it, but I don't get it. Does EMO have other meanings than it used to?

EMO meant... Emotional punk listeners, who believe life is one big bowl of glass shards. You can tell them by their clothes, hair styles, and music they like (My chemical romance, for example).

Does it mean something other than that, or is it some sort of joke about Canada? I was just wondering?
