Nice to meet you all, hope to have some fruitful discussions about mangas/animes in future!
I mostly prefer shounen especially where there is some nice fighting (e.g. Bleach, Samurai Champloo, Beelzebub, ...) and appealing art but really funny ones like GTO (hell, that was fun) are also fine.
Even some romantic stuff is fine if the main characters are not just stupid and clumsy - fruits basket and Kimi ni Todoke were nice to give an example.

I recently discovered J-rock for me and I'd like to have more music of this kind.

I would be happy to discuss with you and receive your recommendations like: if u like this ... u have to watch/read/listen to ...!

I also joined another forum and no one answered for days, I started to feel really lonley *snief*

Yeah I know what you mean, a year and a half ago I joined a bunch of different forums too and I had replies at some and no replies at a few of them, it just shows you how active a forum is.:/

This one isn't as active as some but at least it's not dead yet, which is awesome.:D

Oh, I hope that there are some active people in this forum to satisfy my urge to talk about mangas/animes!

Hehe i'm not too sure, people come and go, even the veterans here only come maybe once every 6 months or so, but you can still talk to me whenever you want.:)

I'll be honest with you though, ever since joining my first anime forum it's ruined my appetite for watching anime for awhile, and it's happens to alot of people, so just be prepared for that.^^^

but don't quite get your second statement. Was the first anime you watched that bad? Or do u just like other things more?
