Hello. I'd like to introduce myself and greet (and of course, be greeted by) some of the members kind enough to say hello. I'm not as into anime as I used to be when I was a kid, but I still enjoy it.
I was hoping to meet some new, perhaps even like-minded friends to chat with in my spare time.
Here's hoping I'll have some fun, and in turn, you all will have some too.

I used to be a huge fan of dragonball z. I enjoyed most of the dragonball series, even a bit of GT.
I enjoyed a handful of adult swim titles and toonami titles;
Escryed (I think that's spelled right), Outlaw Star, the various Tenchi series, Rorouni Kenshin, Blue Sub 6, G Gundam, Hellsing, Fullmetal Alchemist, and a few others.
Most recently I tried to watch kenichi the mightiest disciple and mushishi. Mushishi was VERY good. Kenichi was meh.
I applaud you for teaching yourself Japanese, MegaPanda.
Haha i don't know very well - i can speak it and understand it when spoken, but unfortunately if it is written in kanji then i can't read. i can write in hiragana and katakana but not kanji.
I love mushishi, some episodes were emotional. i first didn't like mightiest disciple kenichi but after reading the manga (which is better than anime i think) i really liked it x but everyone has their own taste x rurouni kenishin and fullmetal alchemist is good too x

hey there and welcome to AO and im hoping your finding your stay here enjoyable , and if you need any help you can pm me if you need to. and im also an anime fan though i never outgrew anime despite my age lol. i love the old anime more than the new stuff like DBZ , star blazers, and a few others that i still love. there are a few new ones i do watch but dont like as much as the old ones lol.

I am not up to date with popular animes these days. I know uh.. soul eater is popular. That's about it.
