what exactly are the points

well, you gain point as you post (I think) and you also gain points as you post threads, you'll get points for posts in you're threads (like this one) and you get points for every person who looks at your thread, and there's a place called vbPlaza Menu on the 2nd bar at the top of the page where you can put some of your points in the bank, although I don't think those other options (other than "bank") are working yet
