Thread: I'm a 6 month Otaku who needs more anime to watch!

I hope you aren't here just to score some new anime titles to watch. Becayse that'd suck if you missed out on the cool community that seems to be building here.

From what I read, you haven't seen any of the Tenchi Muyo series. Tenchi roooocks.

I have never personally seen it, but FruitsBasket is supposed to be good for romance too.

If you like mechs, check out G Gundam.

For a combination of love and mech / bounty hunter stuff, watch Outlaw Star.

Finally, the one I tell everyone to watch just because it's so good: Mushishi.

I'd suggest you should read manga first since they are better in my opinion. But i will list you some and tell you whether they are manga or anime to let you know. Romance genres such as

No I'm definitely not here just for that. Honestly, I am new here and didn't know what I should post for my first post so I just went with the cliche "gimme more animes!"

Haha but I know what you mean. I have so many friends but non of them like anime and they've seen me turn into an otaku. It probably makes them uncomfortable seeing my room slowly add up wall scrolls that turns into a full on anime kingdom. I'm excited to be apart of this community.

How is Anohana? I saw that it's from the makers of Toradora and want to check it out. I might do that next.

Yeah, i totally know what you mean. All my friends are not anime fans, well they don't know what it is exactly. i even suggested to my friends but in the end they either became uninterested or just made fun of it. people just don't understand how good animes are - they are seriously art of unpredictable imaginations! Anyway, answering your question, Anohana is brilliant~ i didn't know what it would be about but it drew me in. It's sad and tragic, but also happy. Really worth watching - to be honest, i thought Anohana was from the same makers as Ano Natsu de matteru (which i love too) since the plot with the love triangle (more like square) was similar to anohana and also the drawing was similar. I think you will like it.

I read that it was from the makers of Ano Natsu de matteru also. I did love that series. I pretty much fell inove with the alien girl haha. I'll definitely check it out.
