Thread: [photoshop] Glossy text -easy

Take original colored area and make that ur first layer... the one that has blue at the top and white at the bottom. "make sure there are no words on it... Layer name FRST

1. make a new layer...name it WHT.. it should be above the FRST layer

2. Fill WHT, with the color white

3. click the F. on the layers area "Layer Style"

4. Click Drop Shadow

-blend mode: Linear Dodge
-Opacity: 100%
Advanced Blending
-fill opacity: 99%
-channels: make sure all checked
-Knockout: none
- below knock out make sure only *blend Clipped Layer's as group* an *Transparency Shapes Layer* is selected.
-Blend if: Gray
0-255

- Blend mode: color burn ... color black
-opacity: 45%
-angle: 120` use global light
-Distance: 8 px
-choke: 0 %
-Size: 8 px

check use global light...

-Gloss contour: DEFAULT Do not check anti- aliased
- Highlight Mode: Screen: color White
-opacity: 100%
- Shadow mode: color dodge .. color Black
-opacity: 30%

Choose ok for this.

5. use the horizontal type mask tool... TEXT thing

6. on a new layer "TEXT is the name of new layer" type what u want it to say.

7. on TEXT color in the text...

8. While the text is still selected... CLick WHT layer and click delete... this should cut out the text on the WHT Layer...

9. make a duplicate layer of the TEXT layer...
and gausuain blur it "2 up to 6, ur choice"
....
ok the shadow effect for the text is done.

FOr inserting the pic... make a duplicate layer of WHT this new layer is called WHT COPY

put the image in between the layer's
