Overview:
Uzumaki Naruto, a 12 year old orphan, believes that one day he’ll become Hokage (the strongest ninja in the Hidden Leaf Village – Konoha). At the beginning of the series, he’s the typical clumsy and foolish classmate. He’s what everyone detests and can’t stand, but after he passes the Genin (lowest ranked ninja) exam, people’s views of him start to change. However, there is a darker and more mysterious reason as to why the villagers despise of him.

After passing the Genin exam, Naruto’s put into Team 7, which consists of Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura and their sensei, Hatake Kakashi (an elite jounin – highest ranked ninja). The four of them go through rigorous missions together, and Naruto soon learns that it’s not going to be easy to become Hokage.

Personal Opinion:
When I first started watching Naruto, I thought the first few episodes were hilarious, but after watching a few more episodes, I became obsessed with it. Once the action sets in, there’s no going back. The animation’s great and the soundtrack’s awesome, not to mention – the storyline’s probably one of the best I’ve ever seen.

The only downside of this anime would be the filler episodes, but as they’re not part of the original anime storyline, they’re not even worth mentioning. If you’re into action packed anime with comedy and slight romance, Naruto’s a must for you.

well the naruto series is getting boring kinda they need to get back on the main thing. to find Sauske

those are the filler episodes, and as i've said in the review, these episodes are not part of the original anime storyline. they are merely episodes that have been put into the anime series to make sure the anime does not catch up to the manga. in other words, they have nothing to do with the original anime storyline.

on the other hand, we won't have to put up with the fillers for much longer. i've heard that the current filler arc will end at episode 181, or somewhere around there. after that, they'll get back onto the original anime. cause for celebration!

Personally I totally agree with you it’s just the length and the all the side stories that are killing it for me.

Naruto is a good series although you may find that it goes on and on a bit which is its main downfall, many people who i talk to describe it as a Ninja form of Dragonball Z and i may or may not agree with that but if Ninja anime is your thing this is one for you otherwise you may find yourself getting bored after a while

well I would like to say that Naruto is great the fillers are killing ppl now I have friends that have stoped waching it becouse of them but I know it will be great whin the fillers end I can wait tell the jump to whin Naruto is older will be interesting

yeah, the naruto series has truly earned the hearts of many fans. if you're fed up with watching the anime fillers, try reading the manga from chapter 238, which is where the anime left off. if you're going to wait for the fillers to end, it's going to be a heck of a wait.
