What are the Illustrados?

Uh oh, I think Im historically challenged.......>_<

It's okay, even Philippines doesn't explain their HISTORY.
We merely call them "intelligent"...

They're the smart Filipinos who were transferred to America for "higher education"... they would then come back to Philippines to "remodel and rule it for the better".......... however, most ended up being corrupt and lost in their own pig-ideals.....

And for all of our lives, the intelligent Filipinos have always had the upper-hand... only when the Spanish let go of us, had they really been put into rule. Even the Japanese used them to pull our strings during WW2...

And eventually... they're now our leaders. (even the "good leaders" are corrupt... most of the REAL good leaders "mysteriously disappeared" whenever they ran against an Illustrado)

Corrupt and uncaring of the populace.
